This series is still as good as the first time I read it. The writing and action are outstanding and I love the characters. The family is wonderful and it would be so cool if heroes like this actually existed. I would love to meet one myself. Getting ready to start the next book in the series. I would recommend this story to any adult reader that enjoys great alpha males and just as awesome heroines. Great sexy action.

Second reading on this book and enjoyed it just as much as first time. Also, recommend the other three in this series, Sawyer, Gabe and Jordon.
Right from the start the reader is pulled into the story with a "can't put it down" feel. The main characters have a truly fantastic meeting and it just gets better from there. The introduction of the Hudson men in book 1 of the series made me thankful I'd bought the entire set at once so I wouldn't have to wait to continue at the end of the first story. Each of the brothers and son/nephew are so very different from each other, the reader was able to embrace them all in unique ways.

The second story matches brother #2 with the sister of our heroine in the first story. I love it when tight knit families merge with either other or extended family or friends. Makes the closeness and conflict resolution that much more poinant. And, come on, who doesn't love a man in uniform?!?!?!!!!!

I was never bored at any point in the entire series, thank you for that Lori.

I like being able to get books from an author's backlist. I came late to Lori Foster and hadn't had a chance to read the Buckhorn Brothers books. Now that I have I am looking forward to the next installments for Jordan, Gabe and Casey.
This book contains the stories of the two oldest brothers Sawyer (a doctor) and Morgan (the sheriff) and their future brides the Malone sisters Honey and Misty. Strong, moral men, damsels in distress add in Ms. Foster's sense of humor and you have wonderful brain candy
Buckhorn Beginnings is the story of two of four brothers - Sawyer (doctor) and Morgan (town sheriff) who are the eldest of four brothers who live in the small town of Buckhorn. The other two brothers - Jordan (vet) and Gabe (all-around handyman and chick magnet) also have their own stories in the series (Buckhorn Legacy). And when you are done with the four brothers, there is the son (Jason) of the eldest brother (Sawyer), and nephew to the others. These guys are irresistible and delightfully perfect in just about every way. They are strong and capable, tender and caring when needed. Lori Foster knows how to draw her heroes for female romance fans!
Between the big sexy guys and women who are strong and extremely independent this series is so very relatable. Lori Foster has taken lovable personalities interlaced with real life problems to create stories you do not want to put down!

I got to say that she does not dissapoint.
In this book, we are introduced to the Buckhorn family.
All that testosterone in 1 house is too much ( but I would love to live in that house )
Sawyer is the only doctor in Buckhorn county.
Morgan is the sheriff.

I normally don't like short stories or Harlequin romances but bought this book for my because I wanted a quick, entertaining summer read and I wasn't disappointed. The first story is about four brothers who are all hunks living together in Buckhorn, KY and the testosterone virtually runs off the pages. They are all four handsome, kind and single until Honey Malone drives her car into their pond. She is sick, frightened and running from something. The bothers take excellent care of her though Sawyer, the eldest brother who is also a physician, ends up with the girl. The second story is about the next eldest brother, Morgan, who is the town sheriff and his involvement with Honey's sister, Misty. I found the constant bickering between Morgan and Misty tedious but eventually they got to the point - they cared for one another and ended up married.

Like all books by Lori Foster, her characters are well developed, her dialogue well written and her stories uncomplicated and entertaining. I recommend this to readers who want a fun, sexy, quick read. I have bought the next book for my in order to follow the saga of these very likable, sexy brothers.
